Practice Receptionist-  Starting February 10th 2020

24.5 hours per week working Monday , Tuesday & Wednesdays

Starting salary - Minimum wage

 Base job requirements are:


  • Previous receptionist or clerical background
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written with clear, legible handwriting
  • Evidence of collaborative working within teams
  • Able to cope with more than one task at a time and move between tasks as required
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Decision making and problem solving skills
  • Able to cope in a stressful or emergency situation
  • Committed to providing patient centered care
  • Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team committed to innovative practice
  • Confident and highly self-motivated
  • Excellent time management, organisational and prioritisation of workload skills
  • Able to use own judgement, resourcefulness, common sense and local knowledge to respond to patients’ queries and requests
  • Able to recognise and adhere to the need for strict confidentiality
